Latrine Project

Since 2013, SAMIC and a well-known Local Non-Government Organization namely “Rural Lives Development Origination - RLDO” have desired to collaborate implementing a project entitled “Micro-Credit Linked Promotion of Community Latrine and Water Filter” for some branches of SAMIC by promoting and building awareness on rural health and sanitation issues, and create opportunity for rural people to access to finance to install the complete set latrine and purchase the water filter.
 
For the first quarter of 2017, there were 70 clients engaged in latrine project receiving the combined credit of USD 44,432.
