In 2008, the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) regulated the Public Saving Sector and fixed a minimum Capital requirement of USD 2,500,000 for MFIs to apply for a Public Saving License. In order to boost our development and follow the 2009-2013 Business Plan, SAMIC Limited will increase its paid-up capital in 2009, from USD 600,000 to USD 1,300,000. Current shareholders will increase their shares and the staff will take shares through the recently-created Staff Association.
