2008: 3 new branches are opened (Siem Reap,
Sihanoukville and Kaep) and the Head Office in Phnom Penh is transferred to its new building. CHC-Ltd. obtained a Permanent Micro Finance License from the National Bank of Camdodia. We of 10’000 clients.
2007: A new branch is opened in Ang Snoul (Kandal province). Department Heads and Board Committees (Executive, Investment and Audit) are established to insure an optimal management of the Institution.
2006: Branch opening in Veal Rinh (Sihanouk Ville)
2005: The CHC Credit Program is transformed into a private company and the newly registered CHC (Ltd.) is licensed by the National Bank of Cambodia to operate as a Microfinance Institution (MFI).
2000: CHC-NGO expands its operations to Kampot.
1994: CAMBODIAN HEALTH COMMITTEE (CHC) is established as an NGO in response to the public health problems (especially tuberculosis) among rural poor people in Svay Rieng province. CHC (NGO) starts implementing the CHC Credit Program (CHCCP) as an effort to reduce tuberculosis prevalence by fighting poverty.
