Micro Insurance

MEADA - Measure for Economic and Accelerated Development for All - is a micro-insurance programme which has been implemented by Samic under CHC patronage as a pilot test since January 2007.

The purpose is to cover our clients and their families in case of accidental death. Their relatives will never have to worry about the repayment of the loan. Besides, they will receive a financial compensation.

The program based on a credit life insurance, has been supported since the beginning by our donors, RIMANSI and CCA, in term of financial and technical perspectives.

+ Number of people covered (spouse+children): 5,581

+ Amount of loan insured: USD 394,439

Technical Asistant

Currently, we have two main technical assistances from CARD and CMI-ASA to strengthen and expand the operation in order to get its long term sustainability.In 2008, CHC-Ltd. has been benefiting from Technical Assistance from CARD on the Credit with Education and MEADA program, and for the optimization of its operations. Experts from CARD have been conducting long-term missions with CHC.
