SBFIC Project Agreement

A signing ceremony was held at SAMIC Plc’s head office on 14 July 2016. A tripartite project agreement was signed by Mr Bernd Werthenbach, Regional Director, representing Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation (SBFIC) from Germany and by Mr King Kap Kalyan, Chief Executive Officer, representing SAMIC Plc. The agreement will later be signed by Dr Alis Alip, Managing Director, representing the Centre for Agriculture and Rural Development (CARD) Inc. The partnership project, which aims at strengthening the regional microfinance network in former Indochina and Myanmar, will cover the period from 15 July 2016 to 31 March 2018. Attendants of the ceremony were Mr Gerd Luerrssen, SBFIC’s Technical Assistant, and his wife, SAMIC’s Chief Financial Officer, SAMIC’s heads of departments and units, and Managing Director of Meada Microinsurance.
